Job summary

ATC is hiring for immediate direct hire opportunities in Oklahoma City. No prior experience required. You will assemble transmission components and verify quality using hand tools and precision measuring devices.

Starting pay is $14.00/hour on 1st shift, with bonuses to $15.25/hour; 2nd/3rd shifts at $16.00/hour with bonuses up to $17.25/hour. Benefits start Day 1, plus referral bonuses and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Basic English reading and comprehension.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify transmission parts for quality and accuracy.
• Assemble components using hand tools and automated equipment.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and quality standards and TS 16949 / ISO 14001 procedures.

Pay & Bonuses

• $14.00/hour (1st Shift) → Hourly Rate with Bonus:$15.25/hour*
• $16.00/hour (2nd & 3rd Shift) →Hourly Rate with Bonus: $17.25/hour*
• $50 Weekly Attendance Bonus

Available Shifts

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Mandatory overtime on Fridays & Saturdays

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

• Mandatory overtime on Fridays & Saturdays

3rd Shift (Weekend Shift): Friday–Sunday: 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM (12‑hour shifts)

• Mandatory overtime may include Monday & Thursday

Must be flexible to work assigned shift and overtime as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Inspect and verify transmission parts for quality and accuracy
• Assemble components using hand tools and automated equipment
• Use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Responsible for adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the TS 16949 and ISO 14001 systems.
• Follow all safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

• 18 years or older
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Basic English reading and comprehension
• Manufacturing experience is a plus—but not required

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand for multiple hours at at time up to 12 hours at a time.
• Frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee will frequently perform tasks requiring forceful repetitive grasping.
• The employee is occasionally required to walk for extended periods of time; bend; stoop; kneel or crouch and talk or hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
