Job summary

Gear Up Sports is hiring production team members for a busy season, with roles including pre-production, pressing and QC/shipping. Positions involve learning multiple production steps, verifying artwork and SKUs, and meeting quality standards.

Swing shifts run 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, with overtime during peak periods and potential Saturday work. The team works collaboratively to meet production goals, with training in computer systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pre-Production/Filtering – Sorting and picking artwork (logos, numbers, etc.), verifying that art and garment SKUs match order paperwork.
• Pressing – Interpreting order paperwork, positioning art, names, and numbers on garments, operating textile heat presses.
• QC/Shipping – Verifying that finished product matches customer orders, packaging and preparing orders for shipment, interacting with shipping software.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Starting Rate: $19.80

****This role is being hired for our busy season and is expected to go through late October to January and may be extended to March. There is also a possibility to convert this seasonal role into a full time role.

Gear Up is seeking production team members who are eager to learn and work in a collaborative environment to meet production goals while adhering to high-quality standards. Team members will be cross-trained in multiple facets of the production process including pre-production picking & filtering tasks, heat pressing garments, and/or quality checking and shipping orders.

Primary roles include:

• Pre-Production/Filtering – Sorting and picking artwork (logos, numbers, etc.), verifying that art and garment SKUs match order paperwork.
• Pressing – Interpreting order paperwork. Positioning art, names, and numbers on garments. Operating textile heat presses.
• QC/Shipping – Verifying that the finished product matches customer orders, packaging and preparing orders for shipment, and interacting with our shipping software.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Available Shifts:

• Swing: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm (10% shift differential)
• Overtime will be required during peak production seasons, including possible Saturday shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to kneel, squat, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds

• Sick Time - accrued at the rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked
