Gear Up Sports, Inc. is hiring production team members for a busy season, with roles in pre-production, heat pressing, and QC/shipping. Shifts include a 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm swing timeline and overtime during peak periods.

The position starts at $19.80 per hour and may extend into March or convert to full-time depending on business needs. Candidates should be able to read orders, learn company systems, work independently or in a team, and pass a basic physical requirement.

This role is being hired for our busy season and is expected to go through late October to January and may be extended to March. There is also a possibility to convert this seasonal role into a full time role.

Description

Starting Rate: $19.80

Gear Up is seeking production team members who are eager to learn and work in a collaborative environment to meet production goals while adhering to high-quality standards. Team members will be cross-train in multiple facets of the production process including pre-production picking & filtering tasks, heat pressing garments, and/or quality checking and shipping orders.

Primary roles include

• Pre-Production/Filtering - Sorting and picking artwork (logos, numbers, etc.), verifying that art and garment SKUs match order paperwork
• Pressing - Interpreting order paperwork. Positioning art, names, and numbers on garments. Operating textile heat presses
• QC/Shipping - Verifying that the finished product matches customer orders, packaging and preparing orders for shipment, and interacting with our shipping software
• Additional duties as assigned

Available Shifts

• Swing: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (10% shift differential)
• Overtime will be required during peak production seasons, including possible Saturday shifts

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience using Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and MRP systems a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to kneel, squat, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk throughout production floor
• Ability to reach and grab totes stored overhead
• Ability to see and distinguish colors
