Charter Steel - Cleveland hires regularly for NIGHT SHIFT.

We offer a starting pay of $22.75/hour for Production roles with an additional $2.25/hour night shift premium, totaling $25.00/hour. Pay and career advancement opportunities are available!

Enjoy a 5-day weekend every other week with our 5-2-2-5 schedule, providing more nights off while working full-time hours! Overtime opportunities are available! Shift hours are 6 pm - 6 am.

Production Team Member Positions:

• Billet Conditioner (Melt Shop): A fast-paced role requiring the use of torches, sample saws, and jackhammers to prepare billets for the next manufacturing stage, rolling. Responsibilities also include stacking billets using an overhead crane and tagging billets for proper identification.
• Finishing Operator (Rolling Mill): A fast-paced role involving rotation between three plant areas. Responsible for operations on the finishing deck, trimming rings, and operating coil handling equipment. May assist with roll changes between sizes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or willingness to participate in an accredited program to obtain GED within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Proven track record of strong attendance and a safety-first mindset.

Must be able to stand most of the shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a hot environment.
