Description

Functions and Expectations

As a Production Team Member, you will assist in the production and manufacturing process. Your responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, preparing machinery and equipment, handling and creeling materials, and strictly following safety and health guidelines. Specific duties include:

• Setting up and operating creeling equipment on Comez machines, monitoring processes, maintaining records, cleaning, performing basic repairs, and communicating effectively with co-workers.
• Installing, maintaining, and operating automated machinery, requiring understanding of mechanical or computer-operated equipment and proper tool utilization.

Production Associate Responsibilities:

• Understand Quality Policy
• Proper yarn identification and handling
• Correct bin doffing and placement
• Validate creel/yarn setup
• Secure knots on polyester yarn
• Manage crochet strings, yarn transfer, and replacement
• Use the splicer properly
• Operate Comez machines proficiently
• Understand and use E-stops correctly
• Address yarn shortages appropriately
• Ensure proper yarn buildup in bins
• Identify yarn and knot counts accurately
• Complete quality forms properly
• Operate moving machinery correctly
• Refill cord holders and operate ovens properly
• Maintain proper crochet yarn threads and lengths
• Understand quality criteria for mop heads and heat tunnel settings
• Rework mop heads as needed
• Perform inspections and lay mops correctly on the heat tunnel input conveyor
• Maintain housekeeping and prevent contamination
• Perform preventative maintenance
