Responsibilities

As a Production Team Member, you will assist in the production and manufacturing process. Your responsibilities include maintaining a clean production area, preparing machinery and equipment for use, handling and creeling of materials, and strictly following safety and health guidelines. Specific duties include:

• A Comez machine operator sets up and operates creeling equipment, monitors the process, cuts yarn ends, removes old thread, keeps records, cleans facilities, conducts maintenance, and performs basic repairs. They maintain communication with co-workers to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Moving machine operators install, maintain, and operate automated machinery, requiring a strong understanding of the equipment. They may work with mechanical or computer-operated tools and need to be technically inclined.

Functions and Expectations

Assist in production, ensure safety, improve quality, and adhere to company policies. Seek additional training when necessary, contribute to continuous improvement, and be accountable for your actions.

Production Associate Specific Responsibilities

• Understand quality policies and properly identify yarn and materials.
• Operate machinery proficiently, including Comez machines, and understand safety features like E-stops.
• Fill out quality forms, perform rework as needed, and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Previous manufacturing experience, good communication skills, high school diploma/GED, basic math skills, and physical dexterity are preferred. Availability for Saturday work is required.
