Job summary

Woodgrain in Emmett, ID is seeking a Production Team Member for day and swing shifts at $17.85-$19.00 per hour. You will monitor equipment and lumber flow, assist with light maintenance, and keep a safe, clean work area while supporting edging, resaw, trimming and stacking operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; production experience is a plus, and lifting/physical effort is required. Woodgrain offers comprehensive benefits, stability, and a family-owned environment.

• Sawmill experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors equipment and lumber flow to prevent production interruptions.
• Performs light preventative maintenance with maintenance staff.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area; operates equipment such as edger, resaw, trimmer, sorter/stacker, stacker outfeed, debarker, bin tender.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Monitors equipment and lumber flow for issues that would interrupt production.
• Works with maintenance personnel to perform light preventative maintenance.
• Responsible for Operation/Maintenance and cleanliness over assigned equipment to include:
  • Edger
  • Resaw
  • Trimmer
  • Sorter/Stacker
  • Stacker outfeed
  • Small/Large Debarker
  • Bin Tender
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Certification
