Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. is seeking a Production Team Leader at our Gooding, Idaho site with day and night shift openings. You will lead daily shift operations, coach hourly employees, and drive a safe, quality-focused, zero-loss culture while meeting production goals.

This role partners with maintenance and logistics to support production flow, schedules staff, and ensures compliance with safety and food safety standards; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; three or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, diagrams, and schedules.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, delegation, and basic math skills.
• Intermediate computer skills, including email, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift production activities to meet safety, quality, output, budget, and continuous improvement goals.
• Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to hourly employees while supporting team accountability and engagement.
• Uphold Glanbia safety, GMP, SOP, FDA, USDA, state, HACCP, and SQF standards.
• Schedule and coordinate employees, shifts, production activities, audits, inventory checks, sampling, and daily standard work.
• Partner with maintenance, logistics, warehouse, and shipping teams to support production flow, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance decisions.
• Report on plant performance during daily reviews and staff meetings while demonstrating professionalism in communication and behavior.
• Serve on committees as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with applicable occupational safety, health, and food safety requirements.

The Opportunity

As a Production Team Leader , you will lead daily shift operations, support and develop hourly employees, and help drive a safe , quality -focused, zero-loss culture. Travel Requirements

• Minimal travel limited within the local area.

Where and How You Will Work

This opportunity is based at our Gooding, Idaho site. Shift options available: 1 day shift opening and 2 night shift openings.
