Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure smooth production processes for donation functions, inventory control, and adherence to agency procedures and core values for processors and donation staff.
  • Perform duties of all production staff as needed, including providing excellent customer service to donors, greeting donors, unloading donations safely, completing receipts, and sorting donated items into categories; maintain production levels and merchandise quality on the sales floor.
  • Assist in enforcing store safety and security procedures.
  • Help settle customer and donor complaints.
  • Contribute to associate interviews and performance evaluations.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional appearance adhering to uniform standards.
  • Assist with staffing in relation to budgets.
  • Help record departmental work accurately.
  • Monitor time and attendance systems.
  • Participate in interviewing, training, and instructing workers to develop their potential.
  • Develop efficient work procedures and methods.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Supervisory Responsibility

This role supervises retail staff including donation attendants, processors, and sales associates.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; at least 6 months of supervisory experience, or completion of GGW’s Aspiring Manager and Employ Excellence Programs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and understand store operation documents.
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and climb for up to 7 hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift 40-50 pounds frequently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in warehouse operations.
  • Experience in transportation production.
  • Ability to coach and lead employees.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
