Job summary

Shoals Technologies Group is growing its manufacturing leadership team at our Tennessee facilities. The role supervises hourly associates, coordinates daily production activities, and ensures parts are built to customer specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of lead experience in an industrial setting, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across teams including English and/or Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of lead experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum of 2 years in an industrial environment.
• Ability to speak English and/or Spanish proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, facilitates, and directs the daily activities of hourly manufacturing Associates.
• Set up the production line to the customer order specifications and coordinate with departments to ensure parts are produced as required.
• Ensure parts and quantities align with the production schedule.
• Communicate safety, quality, and production issues to supervisor or management.
• Coordinate housekeeping for the area.
• Provide training to new associates and document it.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve delays in the shift.
• Work with leadership to address inefficiencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Duties:

• Coordinates, facilitates, and directs the daily activities of hourly manufacturing Associates.
• Set up the production line to the specification of the customer’s order and work closely with various departments to ensure that parts are manufactured according to customer’s specifications.
• Makes sure that appropriate parts and quantity of parts are being run according to production schedule.
• Communicates any safety, quality, and/or production related issues with Supervisor or appropriate management representative.
• Coordinate housekeeping activities of area.
• Provides necessary training to new associates and documents said training.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve delays in the shift
• Work with Supervisor and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Abilities

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
• Excel/ERP (Hand Scanner is a plus)
• Computer Skills (Basic Outlook, Word, and Excel knowledge) GP a plus.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Minimum of 1 year of previous lead experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to speak English and/or Spanish proficiently

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend and/or squat for 10+ hours in a day.
• Must be able to lift up to 25-50 Ibs at a time.
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.
