Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous production experience is helpful.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow of work and job rotation in production.
• Trains team members on assembly procedures.
• Works with team to ensure understanding of responsibilities.
• Educates on safety and ergonomic standards.
• Coordinates with supervisors on additional training needs.
• Ensure engineering change requests are processed properly.
• Monitor processes, rework, defects, scrap, and improvement initiatives.
• Capable of performing production functions as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches of parts per specs.
• Participate in production improvement initiatives.
• Maintain applicable records.
• Demonstrates Aerostar’s Guiding Principles.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May assist in other similar duties as needed.
• Promote the division’s quality management system per ISO standards.
