Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking a Production Team Lead to manage day-to-day production on the 2:30pm–12:30am shift. You will oversee labor, materials, and processes to meet quality standards and production schedules, while coaching staff and enforcing SOPs.

The role requires at least three years in manufacturing with supervisory experience a plus, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Office and production software. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years in manufacturing or production.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and work orders.
• Experience with hand and power tools, and precise manual dexterity.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform material calculations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain industrial equipment certifications (e.g., cranes, forklift, power jack).
• Strong leadership to coach staff and drive process improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with machining, production and logistics software.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor by organizing labor, materials, and support to meet quality standards and production schedules.
• Follow production schedules, prioritize and adjust production to meet business needs and ship on time.
• Implement and follow SOPs and suggest process improvements for quality and safety.
• Communicate with supervisors about material flow from receiving to shipping; collaborate with other departments.
• Lead by example, promote operational excellence, and ensure proper PPE and regulatory compliance.
