Job summary

Pyrotek, Inc. in Aurora, Ohio, is seeking a Production Group Leader on the 2nd shift to guide day-to-day production operations, ensuring SOPs, policies and regulatory compliance are followed while leading a dedicated team.

You will partner with the Production Supervisor, prioritize schedules, coach team members, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift hours are M-TH 2:30pm-12:30am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Supervisory experience, a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and work orders, and follow directions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain industrial equipment certifications (e.g., cranes, forklift, and power jack).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor in managing Team Members to meet goals and coordinate, motivate and support production activities.
• Organize and prioritize labor, materials and services to meet quality standards and schedules.
• Provide coaching, training and troubleshooting.
• Follow production schedules and adjust production as needed.
• Ensure safety, PPE compliance and proper equipment use.
