Job summary

MME Group in Vadnais Heights, MN, is seeking a Production Supervisor for the plastic injection molding division. The role supervises machine and assembly operators, enforces safety and quality guidelines, and trains new shift teams to maintain efficient production lines.

The candidate will record production data, ensure proper documentation, inspect parts for defects, and collaborate with engineers and floor personnel to resolve issues. Strong communication and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

High School or GED required.
Three years working in the manufacturing of plastic injection molding.
Ability to read and comprehend production instructions, policy manuals, safety instructions, short correspondence and business memorandums.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Supervises and monitors the work of machine and assembly operators.
Follows and enforces MME Group safety guidelines.
Follows and enforces MME Group quality guidelines.
Completes training for all new shift team members.
Communicates and works effectively with the other team members.
Shares ideas on how the team can be improved and solve problems with accurate operation sheets.
To record and make accurate records of product produced.
Ensure proper documentation by Material Handlers and Process Technicians when changing work orders.
Visually inspects parts for defects and notifies shift Process Techs of issues.
Drive the culture, provide recognition, and emphasize teamwork.
