Job summary

The Pivot Group Network partners with West Michigan manufacturers to identify skilled Working Supervisors in Coopersville, MI. This role directs a production team, ensures safety, and keeps daily output on track, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will train new employees on SOPs, monitor schedules, perform hands-on tasks as needed, and help maintain quality across shift operations. This is a frontline leadership role focused on reliability and team performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with at least 1 year in a lead/supervisory role.
• Ability to train, mentor, and motivate production teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production schedules.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team of 10-15 production line workers.
• Train new employees on SOPs and safety protocols.
• Monitor production schedules and meet daily output targets.
• Perform hands-on production tasks to support the team.
• Conduct quality checks and address deviations.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment and coordinate with maintenance.
• Maintain production records and daily shift reports.
