Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a production supervisor in Massillon, OH to plan, organize and direct daily production activities and employee training. You will support risk management, drive improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

You will lead meetings, coaching, cross-training and performance management while managing staffing and labor costs and maintaining accurate time/pay records. Flexibility for nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Prepare routine reports and correspondence.
• Apply common-sense judgment to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions.
• Proficient with MS Office and inventory systems.
• Strong planning/organizing, problem-solving, math, and communication skills.
• Effective working with all employee levels; cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct production activities and employee training.
• Support Risk Management Process and drive corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement by gathering ideas from the line and implementing better methods.
• Coordinate daily line operations to meet safety, quality, sanitation, and productivity targets.
• Lead team meetings, training, coaching, cross-training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and process/food safety requirements; maintain a safe workplace.
• Manage staffing and labor costs; ensure accurate time/pay records.
• Audit production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor production, identify defects, and initiate corrective actions.
• Respond to emergencies and changing conditions; escalate when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment setup/operation and update required docs.
• Perform other duties; hours may include nights, weekends, overtime.
