Job summary

Kraft Heinz Massillon is seeking a dedicated supervisor to plan, organize, and direct production activities while training and developing staff for cost-efficient, high-quality output. You will support the Risk Management Process and drive continuous improvement across daily line operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating line operations, coaching teams, ensuring safety and food safety standards, managing staffing and payroll records, and auditing documentation.

• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and inventory systems.

• Ability to enforce rules, policies, and agreements.

• Work independently with minimal supervision; multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Audit production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor production to identify defects and initiate corrective actions.
• Respond to emergencies and changing conditions, escalating actions as needed.

Pay

The starting hourly wage for this role is $30/hr.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, OT as needed

• 1st shift: 5:30am – 2:30/3pm.
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm – midnight

Job Overview

• Drive continuous improvement by gathering ideas from the line and implementing better methods.
• Coordinate daily line/area operations to meet or exceed safety, quality, sanitation/food safety, and productivity targets.
• Lead the team through meetings, training, coaching, cross-training, and performance management (goals, evaluations).
• Ensure compliance with Heinz safety standards and all applicable process/product/food safety requirements; maintain a safe workplace.
• Manage staffing and labor costs, and ensure accurate time/pay records.
• Audit production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor production to confirm the process is executed correctly, identify defects, and initiate corrective actions.
• Respond to emergencies and changing conditions, making timely decisions and escalating/recommending actions as needed.
• Maintain working knowledge of equipment setup/operation/adjustments, and help create/update required documentation (e.g., SOWI, JSA).
• Perform other duties as assigned; work flexible hours including nights, weekends, overtime as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Ability to use hands/arms to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Ability to work in all areas of the facility including hot and cold areas, and be exposed to wet and humid conditions.
• Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs or more.
• Must have excellent vision, distant and peripheral, with the ability to identify and distinguish colors, and adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually high, and ear protection is required.
• May work near moving mechanical parts, high and/or confining place
