Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor in Stockton, CA to assist the Production Supervisor in managing department employees and ensuring efficient operation. This role requires leading by example, coaching staff, and maintaining performance standards on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include directing daily tasks, analyzing workflows, and creating reports to drive improvements. Domestic travel up to 5% may be required; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree, technical school certificate in Business, or equivalent preferred.
• 4 years of supervising experience in a manufacturing setting required.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and distribution efficiency.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.
