Job summary

Butterball in Mount Olive, NC is seeking a production team member to assist the Supervisor with daily production duties, support area set-ups, and help ensure tasks, assignments, and rotations are followed.

You will work in a fast-paced food processing plant, endure loud environments, wear PPE, and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Flexibility for overtime and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn all positions on the production line and support safety guidance.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from the Production Supervisor to assign and instruct daily duties.
• Observe equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Provide timely feedback on issues affecting daily production.
• Assist with daily setup of equipment to ensure on-time line readiness.
• Complete checks and measurements and record results accurately.
• Assist in training staff and developing team members for quality output.
• Support with new hire ergonomic and performance evaluations as needed.
• Arrive before department start time to support area setup and prep.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance; flexible for weekends and holidays.
