Job summary

GALLS, LLC is seeking a dedicated Tailor/Seamstress (Production Associate) to alter uniforms and equipment for public safety professionals. You will take measurements, mark garments, and perform sewing alterations to ensure proper fit and durability.

You will work with industrial sewing machines, follow work instructions in English, and contribute to on-time production while maintaining high quality. GALLS offers strong benefits, tuition reimbursement, and daily pay options to support our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in alterations is preferred; GALLS will train.
• Proficiency with industrial sewing machines is preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read work instructions in English.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and identify customer needs per the Work Instruction Document.
• Take measurements and mark garments for alterations; solve sizing issues.
• Operate a heat press safely and efficiently.
• Perform uniform sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy.
• Operate industrial sewing machinery and meet production deadlines.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
