Cibo Vita in New Jersey is seeking a Production System Operator to safely run, monitor, and clean processing/packaging machinery in a food manufacturing environment. You will support production schedules, uphold GMP guidelines, troubleshoot equipment, and record production data.

This on-site role requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds, with 1–2 years experience using manufacturing software.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience with manufacturing operating systems or software.

Responsibilities

• Print work orders, labels, and pallet tags.
• Update Fishbowl and OC during production.
• Verify batch records and close work orders after run.
• Monitor inventory and investigate discrepancies.
• Enter yield and material usage for reporting.
• Coordinate between production and quality teams.

Job Summary

A Production System Operator in food manufacturing safely runs, monitors, and cleans processing/packaging machinery to meet production schedules, quality standards, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. They troubleshoot equipment, perform quality checks, and document production data to ensure food safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Print work orders, labels, pallet tags (Work Order & Label Management)
• Update Fishbowl and OC during production
• Verify batch record accuracy and close work orders post‑run
• Monitor inventory and investigate discrepancies (Inventory & Reporting)
• Enter yield and material usage for reporting
• Support coordination between production and quality (Coordination Support)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds
• Computer literate and able to understand different manufacturing operating systems (1‑2 years experience)
