Job summary

TrueNorth Steel in Mandan, ND is seeking a Production Support Specialist I or II to help keep fabrication and material handling running smoothly. You will transport materials, assist with loading and unloading, and support machine operators to ensure timely production.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, with a Monday–Thursday shift 6:30 am–4:30 pm and overtime Fridays if needed, plus a full benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and demonstrate the qualities of the TrueNorth Steel Game Changer definition.
• Transport materials and parts to and from production areas as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading inbound and outbound materials.
• Support machine operators and fabrication teams with timely material delivery.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use overhead cranes to move heavy or oversized materials in accordance with safety protocols.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
• Clean, sort, and organize parts and components to ensure readiness for production or storage.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve issues.
• Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
