Job summary

Conner Strong & Buckelew in Camden, NJ is seeking a Production Support role to assist the PSG/Major Accounts team with project coordination, data entry, and underwriting submission support.

The ideal candidate has insurance or office experience and strong Microsoft 365 skills. This is a full-time, on-site position offering comprehensive benefits and hourly pay in a competitive range.

Job description

Department: Production Support Group (PSG) /Major Accounts

Job Summary

Responsible for providing support to the PSG Team. Handle projects, clerical assignments, administrative and data entry duties as directed.

• Assist the Producer and PSG Team Members in gathering and compiling the necessary information required for an underwriting submission.
• Using Standard Documents, create the exposure schedules for Underwriting Submission.
• Analyze loss runs and other loss information provided to produce Loss Summaries, Schedules of Large Losses and Loss Forecasting for marketing purposes.
• Support the RFQ/RFP process for select new business opportunities.
• Set-up and maintain electronic files that conform to company standards.
• Assist with other administrative support duties as needed.
• Answer, direct and/or handle phone calls, as applicable.
• Promote teamwork and commitment to department/corporate goals.

Other Functions

• Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures, Processes and Guidelines.
• Maintain Prospect files in accordance with company standards.
• Other special projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an insurance or office environment.
• Ability to operate office equipment (fax, copier, etc.).
• Proficiency required on Microsoft products; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional Organizational and Customer Service Skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
• Self starter, flexible and able to multi-task with minimal supervision.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship

Working Conditions

Office environment with moderate noise level; able to work flexible hours and travel to other Conner Strong offices and client work sites as needed.

Compensation:

Hourly pay for this position ranges from $27.00 - $30.00. The pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifying positions will also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, such as participation in family medical and dental insurance programs, 401K plan, and PTO.

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship.
