Job summary

Praxis-Packaging-Solutions is seeking an administrative support role to assist the Production Manager, Foreman and Line Supervisors in reporting and compliance on the production floor and in the warehouse.

The position covers hourly and daily production reporting, issue investigation, and adherence to cGMPs and company SOPs. A strong emphasis on process quality, safety, and timely communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree or equivalent combination preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Certified Line Supervisor, preferred.
• Basic mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
• Ability to work independently, without supervision required.
• Ability to organize priorities and workload required.

Responsibilities

• Provide production line information to the Production Manager – Order correct number of production temporary employees for each shift.
• Account for direct labor in an hourly basis – using production schedule and physical counts to ensure that line have correct number of employees/temporaries scanned into their lines.
• Post previous day report showing these statistics.
• Complete batch record review of all production work orders.
• DLS report – review DLS sheets– correct errors.
• Print IRRs and Pallet Tags as per Work Instruction.
• Point person for on-line computer problems – contact IT if needed.
• Main point of contact for production job related activities such as rework, line trials, etc.
• Assist with investigating deviations related to Production and change controls.
• Backup to Production manager in meetings.
• Provide Additional Material Request forms to Warehouse Support.
• Ensure log books and forms are properly filled out.
• Keep Production area clean and stocked.
• Troubleshoot problems and apply problem-solving techniques.
• Adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
• Improve quality management system through data analysis and corrective actions.
• Instill a sense of quality through modeled behaviours.
• Assist with Training and Orientation.
• Elevate complaints and seek Management assistance.
• Ensure proper PPEs and Safety procedures are followed.

Overview

Provide administrative support to the Production Manager, Production Foreman and Line Supervisors. Provide hourly and daily production reporting to the production and accounting groups. Investigate and resolve issues regarding reporting. Work with all supervision and employees to ensure that cGMPs and Praxis’ SOPs, policies and work instructions are being followed. Maintain policies and quality standards on the production floor and in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide production line information to the Production Manager – Order correct number of production temporary employees for each shift.
• Account for direct labor in an hourly basis – using production schedule and physical counts to ensure that line have correct number of employees/temporaries scanned into their lines. Post previous day report showing these statistics.
• Complete batch record review of all production work orders.
• DLS report – review DLS sheets– correct errors. Once report is received, assemble efficiency reports and post.
• Print IRRs - Blue: scan, change location and change status. (Per current Work Instruction.)
• Print Pallet Tags – yellow - scan and change quantity (Per current Work Instruction).
• Point person for on-line computer problems – if unable to correct issue, contact IT.
• Main point of contact for production job related activities such as rework, line trials, etc.
• Assists with investigating deviations related to Production.
• Assists with change controls related to Production.
• Serves as a backup to Primary Production manager in meetings.
• Provide Additional Material Request forms to Warehouse Support.
• Ensure that log books (equipment books) and other forms are properly filled out.
• Keep Production area clean and an adequate supply of forms and supplies are available.
• Troubleshoot problem areas and apply problem-solving techniques for their resolution.
• Adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
• Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions.
• Instills a sense of quality through modeled quality behaviours and mindset.
• Assists with Training and Orientation.
• Elevates complaints and problems, seeks Management assistance.
• Ensures proper PPE’s and Safety procedures are followed.

Pay Range

USD $26.00 - USD $29.00 /Hr.
