Job summary

Procom, acting for a chemical manufacturing client, seeks a Production & Supply: Laboratory Technician 1 for a permanent on-site role in Slater, Iowa. You will conduct formulation work, carry out physical-chemical tests, and help maintain equipment safety and cleanliness while gaining hands-on experience.

Responsibilities include performing tests, documenting results, and formulating simple types (EC, SC) under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified as a chemical laboratory technician.
• Experience in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to maintain a tidy and clean work environment.
• Proficiency in English, preferably level A2.
• Proficiency in German, preferably level B2.

On behalf of our Chemical Manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a Production & Supply: Laboratory Technician 1 for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Slater, Iowa office.

Job Description

This role involves conducting laboratory formulation work and performing physical-chemical tests under supervision. The technician will be responsible for maintaining safety, cleanliness, and functionality of laboratory equipment while gaining valuable work experience and expanding professional knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory formulation work under supervision

Mandatory Skills
