Job summary

Lumilens is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager (Production) to own end-to-end supply chain execution for volume production in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on MRP-driven material planning, CM build plan management, inventory optimization, and supplier risk management to keep production running reliably.

Responsibilities include translating forecasts into procurement plans, coordinating with CM partners, and managing the transition from NPI to steady-state ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, material planning, or MRP execution.

Responsibilities

• Translate forecasts/build plans into MRP, procurement plans, and supplier commitments.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and material consumption.
• Lead supply chain readiness across production builds at CM partners.
• Coordinate build schedules, material availability, and logistics with CM partners and suppliers.
• Support engineering change management for production-phase design revisions.
• Manage transition from NPI/pilot builds into steady-state production ramp.
• Develop and manage production build plan at CM partners, aligned with demand.
• Monitor supplier lead times, capacity constraints, and delivery commitments.
• Identify potential material shortages or supply disruptions.
• Track key supply chain metrics and provide updates to leadership.
