• Supervise all hourly employees within the Welding team
• 90% of the day spent on the shop floor
• Responsible for ensuring welding operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established specifications, procedures, drawings, and company quality standards
• Perform common administrative functions required of personnel in a supervisory capacity; Endeavors to maintain good employee morale, enthusiasm and cooperation
• Administer discipline in accordance with company work rules
• Provide guidance and assign tasks within the department
• Train employees in new work tasks within the department
• Participate in meetings associated with manufacturing goals and objectives
• Approve employee timecards and authorize wage allowances in accordance with company policies
• Understand and comply with company policies
• Participate in company annual inventory count
• Comply and ensure all team members comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Job Summary

As a Production Supervisor - Welding, you will be a member of the operations team. You will ensure that all hourly employees are performing work in a safe and efficient matter. Successful candidates will have experience in planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes, specifically for welding both MIG and TIG.
