Job summary

Orion Industries is seeking a performance and operations supervisor for the weekend shift (Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.).

The role focuses on setting goals, enforcing metrics, and managing performance across departments in consultation with shift supervisors and the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Set and enforce goals and metrics for each department in consultation with shift supervisors and Operations Manager.
• Manage employee and program participant performance for swing shift.
• Handle scheduling, staffing and labor planning duties with consultation with shift supervisors and Operations Manager to include approval of time cards and PTO requests in Paylocity.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards for all employees and program participants working on the stated shift.
• Escalate major issues immediately to other supervisors and Operations Manager.
• Conduct hiring and termination responsibilities in coordination with Human Resources.
• Conduct performance and disciplinary actions for supervised employees as needed and scheduled.
• Coordinate machine and tool maintenance with maintenance department.
• Schedule and conduct performance evaluations for employees as required.
• Ensure mentors complete program participant evaluations on time.
