Job summary

UniFirst is seeking an enthusiastic Production Supervisor to lead the production team and uphold performance standards at our Austin facility. You will work under the Assistant Production Manager, overseeing safety, training, inventory, and data reporting, with a focus on efficiency and quality.

This role offers on-the-job training, a 5-day work week with weekends off, and opportunities for growth within a 2 billion-dollar organization.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Two-year degree preferred.
2-4 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support production process flow.
Support the training of plant personnel.
Support overall morale and safety at the location.
Report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems as they arise.
Support production data entry and report review.
Support management of inventory.
Work with Production Management to address team partner concerns.

In addition to providing supervision in operation of the plant consistent with directives of the Assistant Production Manager and in accordance with company policies and goals. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday & Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required
Two-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred
2-4 years of related experience and/or training preferred
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record is required
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Basic math skills
Good verbal and written communications skills
