Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of integration technicians building and testing parabolic and phased-array antenna systems for ground-based satellite communications.

You will guide mechanical assembly, alignment, and verification, while partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to establish repeatable processes and safe production practices. Travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mechanical/electromechanical assembly in a hardware manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years leading technicians or production teams as a supervisor, team lead, or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical specifications and guide others in their application.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support hardware installation, integration, and team activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities for integration technicians, assigning work based on production priorities and capacity to meet quality and delivery targets.
• Provide hands-on guidance for mechanical and electromechanical assembly, alignment, and verification of antenna systems.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop technicians with clear expectations for workmanship, safety, and accountability.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to troubleshoot issues and translate prototypes into standardized work instructions and repeatable processes.
• Track build progress, production output, and quality trends; communicate risks and coordinate with Supply Chain to resolve shortages.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas and accurate build records for domestic and international installations.
