Hoover Treated Wood Products seeks a Production Supervisor to assist with plant production and material movements, ensuring safety compliance and efficient resource use. You will lead the yard, manage flow of materials and human resources, and help meet production goals.

The role involves supervising hourly staff, conducting performance reviews, and training new workers while maintaining safety and quality across all shifts. Travel and relocation are possible as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Minimum of one year of Supervisory experience required.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Responsabilités

• Ensure environmental and safety procedures are followed and report unsafe activities.
• Ensure production goals are met including downtime, productivity and lead time.
• Lead and develop employees; conduct performance reviews for hourly team members.
• Manage attendance and schedules to ensure full production.
• Recognize and correct quality issues promptly.
• Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate movement of products through all warehouse locations.
• Address worker problems and grievances and escalate as required.
• Assist in hiring and terminating production personnel.
• Demonstrate equipment operations and training to new employees.
