Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and project management.

Responsibilities

• Direct leads and shop teammates with respect to safety, production volume, cost, quality, and meeting production schedules.
• Manage workforce levels and scheduling of work hours, including overtime, to meet customer needs and control costs.
• Oversee hiring, training, motivation, evaluation, and workshop team performance.
• Coordinate inventory and order reinforcing steel to meet customer needs within inventory goals.
• Ensure machinery and facilities are properly maintained for efficient production.
• Authorize and purchase replacement parts and advise on capital expenditures for upgraded equipment.
• Provide operating data to management to improve costs and efficiency.
• Maintain good employee relations and enforce company policy.
