Job Summary
The 2nd Shift Process Line Supervisor is responsible for directing and managing all operations on the production line during the second shift. This role ensures optimal productivity, efficiency, labor management, product quality, and safety. The supervisor leads a team of production associates to meet company goals and maintain operational standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Yes – This position supervises second shift production line staff and ensures effective team performance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure all second shift processes, personnel, and procedures align with company goals and production targets.
- Maintain a safe working environment with an emphasis on personal and product safety.
- Ensure proper staffing levels for second shift operations.
- Provide effective leadership, training, and coaching to second shift team members.
- Promote continuous improvement across production processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the business.
Required Skills And Abilities
- Proven experience supervising or leading a production team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as M3, Infinity, and Insperity (TimeStar).
- Must be available to work 2nd shift and adapt to production schedules.
- Familiarity with poultry processing equipment and systems.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in food or poultry processing.
- Working knowledge of equipment such as Volume Metering Systems, Nothum Breaders, Batter Pro, Fryers, Ovens, Transfer Belts, and Scan Guns.

Remote Work Eligibility
- No – on-site role during second shift hours.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and arms.
- Must regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to work in a cold environment (around 40°F).
