Job summary

Bobrick is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and coordinate activities across alternate shifts, ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are met. This role is part of our rotational Management Development Program and offers growth into leadership.

The successful candidate will supervise up to 30 employees in Assembly, train staff, review production plans, and drive continuous improvement within established budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• BS or BA from an accredited college, or an associate’s degree with apprenticeship or equivalent training, and 2-3 years of shop experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills are essential.
• Comfortable supervising up to 30 employees in Assembly and related duties.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data manipulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Administers company rules, policies and procedures within the department and ensures proper training.
• Ensures employees receive training for safe and efficient performance and conducts safety meetings.
• Monitors workflow, inventories, schedules, and adherence to procedures.
• Schedules production overtime and expedites critical items as needed.
• Reviews rework/inspection reports to identify and fix causes.
• Prepares management reports and status updates.
