Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of applicable experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics; 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Ability to write reports and procedural instructions.
• Ability to interpret varied written, oral, or scheduled instructions.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Forklift and sort machine certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily shift activities and communicate expectations to staff.
• Ensure safety standards and a safe working environment.
• Lead start-up safety meetings and set performance expectations.
• Complete daily production paperwork accurately.
• Load/unload materials from trailers and move pallets as needed.
• Maintain inventory integrity and secure loads.
• Perform equipment checks on industrial power equipment.
• Evaluate products for quality conformance.
• Assist forklift drivers and coordinate material flow for efficiency.

Overview

As a Production Supervisor, you'll get to manage a crew of warehouse personnel, manage customer relations, and be responsible for all aspects of operations of the warehouse location, including production, efficiencies, and employee development. This position fulfills the role of the On-Site Manager in the manager's absence, so it is vital to the site's overall success!

Hourly Pay:

$21.50/hr.

Tuesday-Friday 4:00pm - 2:00am

What You'll Do

• Communicate expectations and goals daily, weekly and monthly to the employees on their shift
• Promote a safe working environment and helps ensure Safety Standards are met
• Conduct Safety and shift start-up meetings with the employees and establish expectations for them
• Accurately complete daily production paperwork
• Load and unload materials from trailers
• Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions
• Ensure loads are secure
• Perform daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Must maintain a clean & safe working environment that meets Relogistics standards
• Assist with forklift driver duties, as needed, supplying and retrieving pallets or materials to/from different areas within the warehouse, making accurate decisions regarding the movement of pallets or materials to maximize the efficiency of the location, as well as tracking these movements in a timely/legible manner
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 years of applicable experience, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, or distribution environments, 1 year in a supervisory role
• Demonstrated ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural instruction manuals
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Experience in MS Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Forklift, yard truck, and sort machine certification may be required
