Abbott in Altavista, VA is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to coordinate a diverse production team in a regulated nutrition manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality and cost control while driving continuous improvement across lines.

You will coach team members, manage labor costs, and ensure compliance with FDA/OSHA and Abbott policies. This is a full-time on-site position at Abbott’s Altavista plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, food technology or engineering or two years’ supervisory experience in a regulated industry with a GED/High School diploma.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop team members through training programs and timely coaching and feedback.
