Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a production supervisor to guide and supervise manufacturing personnel to achieve on-time delivery and high-quality output. The role includes training, scheduling, problem resolution, and adherence to safety and SOP standards across the site in Houston, Texas.

You will interact with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve issues and drive productivity improvements while maintaining discipline and evaluating staff performance.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of quality and manufacturing safety.
• Experience with Excel, SAP, and Oracle is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train production personnel, schedule work, and provide direction.

• Monitor daily production metrics, downtime, efficiency, and waste.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues and improve productivity.

• Apply expertise to resolve production and procedure issues.
• Participate in productivity improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Lead production personnel by providing supervision and training, scheduling work, resolving problems, and providing direction, discipline and evaluations.
• Identify staffing needs, interview, and recommend employee selection.
• Work toward the achievement of department, site, and company goals in production, quality, and other standards.
• Monitor and report daily production results, such as downtime, efficiencies, material shortage, and waste.
• Interact with other internal functional departments, such as Quality and Engineering, to solve issues and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance to standards such as time and attendance, safety, SOP (standard operating procedures), and housekeeping practices.
• Apply expertise in resolving problems associated with production and procedures.
• Participate in productivity improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma required, Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role required.
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
