Job summary

Lyons Magnus in Fresno, CA is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to lead the production team's night operations, uphold safety, quality and efficiency, and coordinate with Maintenance, Supply Chain and QA.

You will supervise the night shift, train staff, conduct team meetings, and ensure proper documentation and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Required: 2–3 years in a Warehouse/Manufacturing setting; ERP and MS Office skills; strong math and problem-solving; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Strong math, prioritization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift and supervise assigned personnel to ensure safety, reliability, sanitation, and quality.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance for smooth operations.
• Prepare team meetings and communicate effectively to develop teams.
• Develop expert knowledge of production processes and equipment troubleshooting.
• Perform daily checks and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices documentation.
• Reinforce urgency during production and communicate issues to management.
• Work weekends as needed and flexible hours.

Compensation & Work Hours

Pay Range: $75,000 – $90,000 annually plus bonus.

Shift: Nights; typical hours are 5:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m., with occasional 12‑hour shifts based on business needs.

Schedule: Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends.

Location: Fresno, CA.

• Provide leadership and supervision of the night shift and associated personnel. Effectively motivate, train and communicate with the assigned shift teams to assure superior levels of safety, reliability, sanitation, and quality. Insure individual and team levels of performance meet or exceed goals and expectations.
• Prepare and conduct team meetings as necessary for proper communications and development of teams. Have the ability to work with Maintenance, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance staff to create a cooperative environment.
• Develop an expert knowledge of the production process and all associated equipment. Be able to analytically and systematically troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop the team to be self‑directed in the same activities.
• Be able to perform daily checks and reports to insure the highest quality of product produced within Good Manufacturing Practices as they apply to the production of the product. Maintain shift performance and quality documentation.
• Reinforce sense of urgency during production runs and periods of machine downtime. Effectively communicate issues to management team.
• Needs flexibility to work variable hours and weekends. Ability to work weekends, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• At least 2‑3 years of related experience in a Warehouse/Manufacturing environment, preferably in food and beverage.
• Computer skills including a working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Basic Math skills.
• Good prioritization and problem‑solving skills.
• Working knowledge and application of Food and Beverage Manufacturing, including video jets, case packer, fillers set‑up process.
• Strong forklift, industrial equipment skills – a plus.
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes is preferred.
• Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred but not mandatory.

Education & Experience

• High School or GED or BS Degree in an Operations‑related field.
• Additional education may substitute for experience, as applicable.
