POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will establish short-term and long-term direction for the department, using input from Site & Production Managers to help achieve operational goals. The Supervisor is responsible for daily supervision and workload management of the Production team.

DUTIES:

• Oversee shift production performance related to throughput and scrap targets.
• Maintain the HSE system for team members and areas under control.
• Lead adherence to Quality system and conformance to Control Plans.
• Monitor schedule adherence and coordinate with Planning for adjustments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Safety, Planning, and Quality teams to create a world-class environment.
• Engage team and Quality in Customer Complaint and NCR processes.
• Enter Maintenance Work Orders and engage with Maintenance during PM cycles.
• Develop, guide, and mentor team members and Shift Leads.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
• Support and lead the 5S system adherence.
• Lead daily Team Meetings and establish communication routines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years supervisory experience in Manufacturing.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Safety principles and 5S standards.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles including 8D and 5 Why.
• Experience with Plastic Extrusion is preferred.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective communication skills and professionalism under stress.
• Ability to prioritize and develop innovative solutions.
• Inherent sense of urgency.
