Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) – Hexacomb division in North Carolina seeks a Production Supervisor to plan and supervise production staff and resources. This role focuses on coordinating schedules, training staff, and ensuring efficient production that meets quality and safety standards.

You will collaborate with the Plant Manager, enforce health and safety, drive improvements, and maintain documentation while supporting a safe, productive operation within the Hexacomb facility.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to high school diploma required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests.
• Solid analytical, mechanical and mathematical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all individuals at all levels throughout the company.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and communicate with production team and management.
• Working knowledge of computer systems.

Responsabilités

• Supervise production staff and schedule shifts.
• Coordinate daily and weekly schedules with Plant Manager to meet production goals.
• Enforce health, safety, and quality procedures and regulations.
• Train new hires and retrain existing employees on equipment and protocols.
• Analyze production performance and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report on production results.
• Request materials and parts as needed and manage records.
