Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 Salary
Key Responsibilities
- Help drive a safety-oriented work environment
- Enter Near Misses to capture safety issues and concerns
- Help ensure employees comply with Anchor Fabrication Safety Policies (PPE, Safe Behavior, Proper Use of Equipment)
- Help drive a culture for clean, well organized and efficient work environment ensuring 6S and lean principles are sustained throughout the department
- Maintain a quality and safety driven environment that is compliant with the company's vision and goals
- Help drive quality by implementing process improvement initiatives and seeking root cause and corrective actions
- Help maintain a quality driven environment that is compliant with all company certifications and specifications
- Monitor the production process and ensure all products meet quality standards
- Work to meet attainment goals and comply with a top-down approach
- Work to improve and maintain a high machine utilization by programming parts across multiple machines
- Ensure operators clean machines, tooling and work area at the end of shift
- Assist, support and motivate operators to accomplish production goal
- Foster a team environment
- Be a positive influence for team members
- Set a good example to motivate your team to perform their best

Qualifications
- Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 2 years proven experience as a machinist supervisor of a production team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate employees
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer operation including keyboard and mouse operation with general knowledge of Microsoft a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to use handheld measuring tools to verify accurate dimension and fit of parts
- Basic knowledge of, and the ability to apply standards of measurement including standard, metric and decimal
- Basic knowledge of, and the ability to interpret metal types, common thickness, and tensile properties
- Operate equipment in area as needed after proper training (machines, forklift, bander, pallet jack, powered and handheld tools, etc.)
- Must be highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment
- Punctual and dependable attendance record
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals
