Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and FDA regulations (cGMP experience preferred).
• Experience with unit operations (distillation, filtration, centrifugation, drying).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant operations and staff, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Coordinate manpower to meet department timelines and production goals.
• Oversee training, coaching, and disciplinary actions for direct reports.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives and drive cost-saving improvements.
