Job summary

Nordson EFD in Connecticut is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing team, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with planning and other shifts.

Responsibilities include daily shift meetings, assigning work, managing SAP production orders, driving continuous improvement, and coaching team members to meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing with at least 3 years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or ISO-certified environments.
• Knowledge of injection molding and automated assembly equipment.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; English proficiency required.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Hold daily shift meetings focusing on safety, performance, quality, and improvement.
• Provide work assignments and supervision to Production Team members.
• Ensure timely opening and closing of production orders in SAP; coordinate with planning.
• Identify and implement changes to production processes to improve on-time delivery and productivity.
• Coordinate resolution of quality issues and communicate effectively with management.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve high performance and address issues.
