Job summary

Miller CAT is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the day-to-day manufacturing operations in our Dallas-area plant. You will supervise a team of production associates, coordinate with quality, maintenance, and materials teams, and drive safety, quality, and productivity targets on the floor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing with 1–2 years in a supervisory role, experience in automotive or precision fabrication, and strong Lean, 5S, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing with 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Experience in automotive parts or precision manufacturing preferred
• Lean/5S and continuous improvement knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
• Proficiency with production-tracking software
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and meet output targets
• Create and schedule work orders for efficient cycles
• Lead, train, and develop production team; manage attendance and performance
• Enforce safety policies and investigate incidents to prevent recurrence
• Monitor quality and address defects and non-conformances
• Track daily production metrics and report to leadership
• Monitor inventory to meet production schedules
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma) to reduce waste
• Handle employee relations and corrective actions
