Job summary

Rocky Mountain Steel Mills is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Seamless Mill located in Pueblo, Colorado. This role leads dynamic teams, collaborates with QA and safety, and drives efficiency in the production line to meet targets.

You will oversee daily inspections, training, and performance records while coordinating with cross-functional groups. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with three years of supervisory experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting
• Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated initiative to identify areas, propose and implement solutions
• Comfortable with rotating day/night schedule, holidays and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform daily mill inspections focusing on safety and productivity; coordinate with mill support groups to design countermeasures
• Use LEAN manufacturing tools to engage employees to continuously improve mill operations
• Schedule and maintain shift manpower for mill operations and training
• Onboard new bargaining employees, ensure training and complete 720 probation evaluations timely
• Manage an operational and quality team during manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems
• Maintain mill supplies inventory; interface with storehouse and vendors for resupply
• Maintain and correct records including shift performance, heat traceability, and quality assurance
• Maintain coaching documents for attendance, behavior, safety, and performance
• Maintain Kronos Pay System by reviewing, editing, and approving timecards daily
