Job summary

Comar in Buena, NJ seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, ensuring safety and quality while driving continuous improvement across operations. You will oversee staffing, training, and performance to build a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of related supervisory experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to GMPs and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related manufacturing, production, or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities during the assigned shift.
• Ensure employees follow safety procedures, company policies, and equipment requirements.
• Promote a positive safety culture and address unsafe conditions.
• Oversee production to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure GMPs and SOPs are followed.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources to support goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team; train and coach staff.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and others to support plant performance.
