Job summary

Ya YA FOODS in Ogden, UT is seeking a supervisor to monitor production processes and equipment to ensure optimal efficiency, minimize downtime, and uphold GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards. You will lead shift teams, communicate goals, resolve issues, and collaborate with maintenance, QA, warehouse, and planning to meet performance metrics.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards; conduct shift meetings and communicate goals and performance expectations.
• Investigate and resolve production, quality, and safety issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, QA, Warehouse, and Planning to support operational objectives; maintain production records and performance metrics.
• Monitor labor utilization and staffing levels to meet production demands.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and waste reduction.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching.
• Support new product launches, process improvements, and operational projects.
