Job summary

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Second Shift Production Supervisor to oversee Knoxville-area production operations. The role requires strong leadership, strict adherence to safety, and coordination with regulatory and quality teams to ensure USDA sanitation standards are met.

Ideal candidates will have a Food Science/Technologist degree, 5+ years of supervisory experience, and SQF/HACCP certification, with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams across shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation per USDA requirements.
• Liaise with federal, state, and local regulators.
• Assist with maintaining third-party certifications such as BRC.
• Promote high morale among employees.
• Enforce conduct, attendance policies and values consistently.
• Assign and schedule team members to meet production needs.
• Assist in selection and training of new team members.
• Participate in external and internal training programs.

• Adhere to and enforce all workplace safety rules, regulations, and practices.
• Process any workplace injuries/incidents in a timely manner per the Incident Reporting and Investigation Guidelines.
• Comply with all food safety, security, and quality requirements.
• Ensure all areas are kept clean, in good condition, and in compliance with USDA established sanitation requirements.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all representatives of federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Assist with maintaining third-party certifications such as BRC.
• Promote and maintain a high level of morale among employees.
• Enforce Guidelines of Conduct, Attendance Policy, and Values in a firm, fair, and consistent manner.
• Assign and schedule team members efficiently to meet production requirements.
• Assist in selection, , and training of new team members.
• Participate in external and internal training programs.
