Job summary

Vibrantz Technologies Inc. in Ashtabula, OH seeks a Production Supervisor II to oversee daily manufacturing operations across batching, mixing, dispersion, filling, and packaging.

You will lead hourly staff, coordinate resources, and drive improvements to meet safety, quality, and cost targets. The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and working knowledge of ERP and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading hourly production employees.
• Working knowledge of ERP, inventory and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations across batching, mixing, dispersion, filling, and packaging to meet production schedules and uphold quality, safety, and cost standards.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and production resources to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
• Monitor production performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and quality.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees through training and performance management.
• Ensure safe production practices and proper handling, storage, and disposal of materials.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and other teams to maintain product specifications and support new products and process changes.
• Drive Lean, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and waste reduction.
