Job summary

Lear Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a Manufacturing Production professional to manage a range of production activities, including assembly, shaping, processing and packaging, with emphasis on meeting specifications, schedules and quality targets.

The role requires liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, and Sales to develop production schedules and allocate labor and capital resources, while planning and prioritizing line maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Job Description

Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including:

• Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources
• Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions
